Schools of Information Theory are short workshops aimed towards giving students an educational experience that will introduce them to new research frontiers in Information Theory.
List of Schools
The 2014 IEEE North American School on Information Theory (NASIT) will be held at the Fields Institute in Toronto, Canada on June 18-21.
The school provides a venue where doctoral and postdoctoral students can meet to learn from distinguished professors in information theory, and form friendships and collaborations.
The school brings together students from many different countries and provides them the opportunity to listen to distinguished researchers in the field, present their own research results and get feedback.
While organizing our school, we primarily aimed at offering a common place to bring together creating minds from the disciplines of Algebra, Computer Science and Engineering around an exciting and innovative inter-disciplinary topic. We hope you enjoy while learning and creating around Network Coding!." - M.A. Vazquez-Castro (Chair of the School)
