Diversity and Inclusion

A basic set of resources and information on diversity, inclusion, and belonging maintained by the ITSoc Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

  • Committee mandate and membership: ITSoc D&I Committee

  • IEEE ethics reporting process: A new process was introduced in April 2021. The new process includes a centralized location for reporting misconduct, an extended timeframe for reporting, and some updated procedures for evaluating, managing, and tracking reports of misconduct.

    • Complaints should be reported via the portal at the following link: Ethics Point Link.  Reports can be made either via an online form or by phone; details of both are provided at the link.

    • Some information on the revised process was provided in the April 2021 issue of IEEE Spectrum: Spectrum article

    • Please note that the IEEE resources above do not assure immediate response or assistance.  For situations occurring at ITSoc events that require immediate assistance please refer to the code-of-conduct of the event and/or contact the event organizers.

  • Committee presentations to the IEEE ITSoc Board of Governors (the "BoG"): Follow menu tab at top of page; direct link
