The 2024 JTG/IEEE ITSoc Summer School (India Summer School) will be held during 24th-28th June 2024 in person at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, and will feature lectures by:

1. Henry Pfister (Duke University)
2. Cynthia Rush (Columbia University)
3. Aditya Gopalan (IISc)

We will also have short research talks by young faculty, and poster sessions by graduate students. Students are welcome to present posters, and are requested to indicate their interest at the time of registration.

The JTG summer school was started by the Joint Telematics Group to cover contemporary research topics in information theory, signal processing, telecommunication, and networking for students and young researchers from all over India. Since 2016, this is being sponsored by the IEEE Information Theory Society. The 2024 summer school will be the fifteenth edition in the series, and is being organized jointly by IIT Hyderabad and IIIT Hyderabad. 

The Joint Telematics Group (JTG) of various IITs and IISc, Bangalore was formed in 1997. The JTG holds the  National Conference on Communication (NCC)  annually across various IITs and IISc.
