Postdoc Position in Information Theory
A postdoc position in information theory is available in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Hawaii to work on communications and machine learning for source coding.

The University of Hawaii is looking is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to work with Prof. Anders Host-Madsen on information theory, in a joint project with Prof. Zixiang Xiong at Texas A&M University. The research group is working on wireless information theory, graph coding, machine learning for source coding, machine learning for anomaly detection, among other things. Candidates are expected to have PhD in electrical engineering or mathematics; we are looking for candidates with a strong background and publication record in information theory.
