The Symposium on Problems of Redundancy in Information and Control Systems (ISPRICS) will be held on board of a comfortable cruise ship. Previously unpublished contributions from a broad range of topics in information theory are solicited.
First Van der Meulen Seminar
The IEEE Benelux Chapter on Information Theory organizes a Seminar on Relay Communication on May 27, 2009, in De Zwarte Doos, Eindhoven University of Technology. On this special occasion the contributions of Prof. dr. Edward C. van der Meulen to Information Theory and more specially to Relay Communication will be recognized. Also his role as Founding Father of the Benelux Information Theory Chapter and his efforts as Chairman from 1990 to 2007 will be acknowledged.
