SCOPE
Please join us for ISIT 2015 - the 2015 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, taking place from June 14-19, 2015 in Hong Kong, a city where East meets West. We seek original, unpublished contributions in all areas of information theory, including but not limited to the topics listed below. In addition, papers that broaden the reach of information theory, including emerging fields and novel applications of information theory, are encouraged.

TOPICS OF INTEREST
1. Big Data Analytics
2. Coding for Communication and Storage
3. Coding Theory
4. Communication Theory
5. Complexity and Computation Theory
6. Compressed Sensing and Sparsity
7. Cryptography and Security
8. Detection and Estimation
9. Emerging Applications of Information Theory
10. Information Theory and Statistics
11. Information Theory in Biology
12. Network Coding and Applications
13. Network Information Theory
14. Pattern Recognition and Learning
15. Quantum Information and Coding Theory
16. Sequences
17. Shannon Theory
18. Signal Processing
19. Source Coding and Data Compression
20. Wireless Communication and Networks

PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION
Submitted papers should be of sufficient depth for review by experts in the field. The paper is limited to 5 pages in standard IEEE conference format. In addition, it can have an optional 5 pages of appendix that includes details, such as excluded proofs, which would be read at the discretion of the reviewers. The reviewers are not required to read these additional pages and the paper should be intelligible without them. The additional 5 pages will also not be a part of the final manuscript appearing in IEEE Xplore if the paper is accepted for publication. Manuscripts longer than 10 pages will be rejected without review. We look forward to receiving your submission. Please remember that all submissions to ISIT 2015 must be accompanied by a signed IEEE Copyright form.

As a new feature of this ISIT, a small subset of the accepted papers will be selected, during the review process, for presentation in semi-plenary sessions, i.e., time slots in which there are just two parallel sessions. All submissions are automatically considered for presentation in the semi-plenary sessions. Hence authors are not required to do anything explicitly about this. More details can be found at the conference website.
