CISS 2017 will feature presentations in multiple fields of information sciences and information systems, including the well-established fields of information theory, coding, communications, system theory, and signal and image processing as well as an expanded palette of information-intensive research areas including sensory systems, neuroscience, biological systems and control, and photonic and quantum systems.

CISS 2017: Call for Papers

51st Conference on Information Sciences and Systems

March 22-24, 2017

Hosted by the

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Johns Hopkins University

and a Technical Co-Sponsorship with the

IEEE Information Theory Society

Authors are invited to submit previously unpublished papers describing theoretical advances, applications, and ideas in the fields of Information Sciences and Systems including:

 

  • Information Theory 
  • Communication
  • Networked Systems
  • Coding
  • Signal and Image Processing
  • Systems and Control
  • Biological Systems and Control
  • Photonic and Quantum Systems
  • Neuroscience
  • Security and  Privacy
  • Inference
  • Sensory Systems 
  • Machine  Learning

Papers will be presented within 20 minute time slots, including time for questions and are eligible for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.

Important dates

  • Submission deadline - December 11, 2016
  • Notification of acceptance - January 15, 2017
  • Final manuscript due - January 31, 2017
  • Author registration deadline - January 31, 2017
