The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the National University of Singapore is offering two positions for postdoctoral fellows who will work in information and coding theory. Specific topics of interest to the Principal Investigators include finite blocklength analysis, network information theory, coding-theoretic techniques for reliable communication in the presence of synchronization errors, and applications of the above.

Each position is expected to last for 2 to 3 years. The candidate is expected to have a PhD in electrical engineering, computer science or mathematics and a strong publication record in information and coding theory. The candidate will work closely with Dr. Vincent Tan, Dr. Marc Andre Armand, and Dr. Mehul Motani and will use the postdoctoral stint to develop a strong research profile that will enable him/her to find a good faculty position afterwards.

Salary will be extremely competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's abilities and track record.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, a detailed CV, publications (published or submitted), and a short research statement to the three PIs ( [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] ).
