A joint postdoc position at Arizona State University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and the US Army Research Laboratory in the area of secure and authentic communications, is available immediately. The successful candidate will be working with the research groups of Prof. Oliver Kosut and Prof. Joerg Kliewer in collaboration with the US Army Research Laboratory.

Specific topics of focus are secret key establishment and management in austere communication environments consisting of both traditional and quantum channels, where both practical aspects and a fundamental information-theoretic understanding will be considered.

The appointment will be for a period of 12 months initially, with a possibility for renewal. We are looking for strong applicants with an excellent theoretical background and a proven capacity for high-quality research in form of a strong publication record.
