Chee Wei Tan was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2008. His research interests are in networks, signal processing, information theory and nonlinear optimization. He was the Chairman of the IT Society Hong Kong Chapter in 2014 and 2015. He currently serves as an Editor for the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking and the IEEE Transactions on Communications. He currently works on the next-generation Information-Theoretic Inequality Prover cloud computing software (software-as-a-service) with Drs Siu Wai Ho and Raymond Yeung.
