Soheil Mohajer is an Assistant Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He received his Ph.D. in 2010 and M.Sc. degree in 2005 in Communication Systems both from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Prior to that, he obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2004. He was affiliated as a post-doctoral researcher with Princeton University (2010-11), and the University of California, Berkeley (2011-13). His research interests include information theory, wireless networks, distributed storage systems, and statistical machine learning. Dr. Mohajer is the recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER award in 2018.
