ESIT2014 Travel support

 

Travel grants from EU COST Action IC1104

 

Applicants might be eligible to apply for travel support. Students and early stage researchers from the following participating countries are eligible to apply for COST travel grants: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, FYR Macedonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom. The grants are kindly provided by EU COST Action IC1104 on Random Network Coding and Designs over GF(q). 

In order to apply for the grant, you need to mark the corresponding field in the registration form, to provide a short motivation letter (up to 100 words), and to fill in all the required information. The applicants that will receive a COST travel grant will be required to present a poster about their work.  

Important note: the deadline for applications for COST Action travel grants has passed and the results of the selection process were emailed to the applicants on February 6th (the deadline for COST Action grant applications was January 30th). If you applied for COST Action travel grant, you should have received the decision by email.

Registration fee waiver for Estonian students

 

A small number of grants will be given to students in Estonian universities. The grant will typically be in the form of the registration fee waiver. To qualify, you have to be a full-time graduate student in one of the Estonian universities. To apply, you need to mark the corresponding field in the registration form, to provide a short motivation letter (up to 100 words), and to fill in all the required information.  

 

Visa support

 
Estonia is a part of Schengen visa-free travel area. If you need a visa to travel to Estonia, please contact us as soon as possible. We will issue an invitation letter, which can be presented to the Estonian Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence.
