NASIT 2019 will be held July 2 - 5 at Boston University in Boston, MA, USA.

The 2019 North American School of Information Theory will be held Tuesday, July 2 through Friday, July 5, 2019 in the Photonics Center at Boston University.

The registration deadline is April 25th, 2019 and notifications will be sent by April 30th, 2019.

The school is the 12th Annual North American School of Information Theory and follows a series of events designed to provide graduate students with opportunities to:

  • Learn from senior lecturers in the field who will present long-format (2 1/2 hour) tutorials;
  • Participate in a stimulating and inviting forum of scientists;
  • Present their own work for feedback and potential collaboration;
  • Deepen their connections with the community.

Travel Logistics

  • Logan airport offers non-stop flights 
from most major North American airports as well as to Paris.
  • Ideally, students attending ISIT 2019 will be able to book
 a flight to include Boston as a "stopover" and save on total airfare.
  • BU can be reached from the airport via subway. 


Students will be able to book housing in a BU dorm, just a 15-minute walk from the tutorial venue.
