        The Institute for Information Transmission Problems of the Russian
        Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Mathematics of the Bulga-
        rian Academy of Sciences are organizing the Fourth International
        Workshop on Algebraic and Combinatorial Coding Theory in Nov-
        gorod, the oldest city in Russia, from Sunday, September 11 to
        Saturday, September 17, 1994. The Workshop will cover the following
        topics:
               
          * linear codes
          * combinatorial codes
          * algebraic-geometrical codes
          * fast decoding
          * encoding with additional information
          * covering problems in coding theory and related topics

        Two copies of the submitted papers (4 camera-ready pages in 
        English) should be received before June 1, 1994, by:
