Ali Tajer received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, and the M.A. degree in Statistics and the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. During 2010-2012 he was a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University and an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University. He is an assistant professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His research interests lie in the general areas of statistical decision theory, network information theory, and wireless communications.
