Ramy Abdallah (previously Ramy Abdallah Tannious) earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008 and his B.S. and M.S. from Alexandria University, Egypt, all in Electrical Engineering.
His dissertation work concerned the performance limits of communications in several wireless relay network architectures.
Since September 2010, he has been with Aviat Networks as a Senior R&D Engineer developing the next generation of microwave radio products for wireless backhaul. His research interests lie in the broad area of wireless communication theory, with applications to relay networks and cooperative communications, cognitive radio networks, and body area networks. He has published over 15 journal and conference papers in these areas.
