Biography:

Jean-Francois Chamberland is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. He received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University and a Master of Science degree from Cornell University. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Electrical Engineering.

His research interests are in the areas of communication and information theory, decision and control, computer systems and networks, statistical inference, learning, and applied probability. Recently, he has been studying the efficient design of wireless sensor networks from a system-theoretic perspective.
