Biography:

Bobak Nazer is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, hosted by Prof. Stark Draper and Prof. Rob Nowak. He completed his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering at Rice University (B.S. 2003) and was a graduate student in electrical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley (M.S. 2005, Ph.D. 2009) under the supervision of Prof. Michael Gastpar. He was the recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship and was selected as the Outstanding Teaching Assistant in Electrical Engineering in 2004. For his doctoral research, he was awarded the Eli Jury Award for Outstanding Achievement in Systems, Communications, Control, or Signal Processing in 2009.
