8th Spanish Workshop on Signal Processing, Information Theory and Communications
A Coruña, Spain. September 14, 2018

Around 45 participants, including both senior researchers, postdocs and graduate students, attended this event. The technical talks were

  • John Thompson (University of Edinburgh), “ Overview of Energy Efficient Signal Processing for Millimetre Wave Communications
  •  Iñaki Esnaola  (University of Sheffield), "Information-Theoretic Security in the Smart Grid"
  • Michèle A. Wigger (Telecom Paris Tech), " Caching Networks:  Low-Subpacketization Schemes and Improved Delivery Methods"

In the afternoon, students and other attendants presented their recent research results in a poster session featuring more than 20 posters.

Donostia – San Sebastian, Spain. January 23, 2018

More than 50 participants, including both senior researchers, postdocs and graduate students, attended this event. During the morning this event hosted the talks:

  • Geert Leus (TU Delft), “ Statistical Inference through Sparse Sensing
  • Georgios Giannakis (University of Minnesota), “ Caching for 5G via Reinforcement Learning of Space-time Popularities
  • Idoia Ochoa (University of Illinois),   Denoising of Aligned Genomic Data

In the afternoon, students, postdocs and senior researchers presented their recent research results in a poster session.
