Brief description of activities of IT Seoul Chapter, August, 2011.
This chapter annually holds Three one-day Workshops and one education program on Error Correcting Codes for both field engineers and graduate students. So far, we have already had two workshops, one in KAIST, DaeJeon, Korea, in January 2011, and the other in Samsung Electronics Education Center, Suwon, Korea, in May 2011. In both workshops, a total of about twenty professors and engineerstogether with about 50 graduate students have attended, and four papers with one special lecture have been given. Programs of both workshops will be uploaded as a separate report. Report on Education program on Error-correcting-codes will be uploaded as a separate report.
