Simons Foundation Postdoc at UT Austin

— filed under:

The ECE department at The University of Texas at Austin seeks highly qualified candidates for postdoctoral fellowship positions, lasting up to two years, in the information sciences, broadly defined. Applicants should have, or be close to completing, a PhD in ECE, CS, Math, Statistics or related fields.

Funding for the fellowships will be provided by the Math+X Simons Chair created in September 2012 at The University of Texas at Austin: https://simonsfoundation.org/funded-programs/math-x

The fellows are expected to have significant freedom in choosing the research direction they want to pursue, and will be encouraged to collaborate with several faculty members (and their research groups) in the Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG ). This is an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative group of faculty with expertise in wireless, networks, information theory, statistics, signal processing and machine learning.
