Mailing Lists
Pointers and brief descriptions of IT Society mailing lists.
The IT Society provides different means for its members and friends to stay up to date with the latest news and events.
Website
All news and events are now posted on the website http://www.itsoc.org. The two main sources of information are
- the "recent news" page at http://www.itsoc.org/news-events/recent-news (e.g. call for papers, etc.)
- the "upcoming events" at http://www.itsoc.org/news-events/upcoming-events (e.g. ISIT from July 1 to 6)
Subscribing to Feeds
If you prefer to obtain news and events via RSS, you can subscribe to the following feeds using most web browsers or mail readers:
- the feed http://www.itsoc.org/news-events/recent-news/aggregator/RSS will provide to all "recent news"
- the feed http://www.itsoc.org/news-events/upcoming-events/aggregator/RSS will provide all "upcoming events"

If you prefer to obtain news and events via email, you can subscribe to the following mailing lists:
- to receive automatic emails for "recent news", go to http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=itsoc/news. You will be instructed to enter you email, and you will receive a confirmation email to activate your subscription.
- to receive automatic emails for "upcoming events", go to feed http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=itsoc/events. You will be instructed to enter you email, and you will receive a confirmation email to activate your subscription.
Posting information
All announcements, news, and events must be posted through the website. Instructions for posting news items or events are available here.
Note that posting announcements requires an account, which can be obtained by going to http://www.itsoc.org/register. Registration is currently limited to ITSoc members, but feel free to contact the online editor if you need help.
