About Tallinn

Tallinn is home to about 500 thousand inhabitants, and is a progressive and dynamic city with a millenary history. Tallinn offers all the infrastructure and facilities of a global technology hub, combined with highly attractive tourism opportunities. The picturesque Old Town, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, is a unique pearl of medieval architecture, considered as one of the most intact medieval city centers in the world. Other major attractions include the Tallinn Zoo, the Botanical Gardens and many galleries. In addition, it is possible to find tour packages departing Tallinn to various tourist destinations in Estonia and Finland. Helsinki is 2 hours by ferry across the Gulf of Finland.

The Old Town offers countless dining opportunities in a few minutes walking radius from the school hotel. The school participants will not miss home at any moment, since Tallinn’s city centre is almost fully blanketed with free-of-charge WiFi.
